On Can a social media like Twitter boost your lead generation results?

The uses for social media in B2B and B2C are endless. It comes down to your creativity and know-how on how to execute and create a compelling message that others will want to engage with.

If you don't have the know-how check out some Sales 2.0 & Social Media blogs or go read Joel Comm's Twitter Power book. Brian also points out some nice uses for Twitter in his summary of Christian Fea's post.

C-level execs, decision makers and influencers use social media, they blog, they jump on Twitter to connect with others to share like interests and passions. With Twitter, you can tap into another touch point with your customers and be part of the conversations they're having with or without you.

Choose to participate!!!

Nice work Brian!

On Marketing and Sales Unite To Increase Revenue

@Larry Great comment! There is a large disconnect between marketing and sales organizations in many companies. This is unfortunate because if it continues these companies will drastically under perform their competitors and find themselves broke with time. Sales 2.0 companies find a way to tear down these barriers through communication, proper lead ranking, tracking, closed loop etc.

There is opportunity out there. Sales 2.0 can help you find it.

Larry could you leave your comment on my blog NewSalesEconomy.com as well?

Thanks!

On What If We Stopped Using The Economy As An Excuse?

The poor economy is just an excuse for those who don't have the drive to do what it takes to succeed. I guarantee most sales reps that are not making their numbers are the same one's who don't invest in personal development, have the lowest amount of persistence and are not experts on their products and services.

Yes times are tough. We all know that. But, if you've got the chops and are willing to try new things you will succeed.

Nice post Dave!

On Cut Your Marketing Budget to Zero & Still Generate Leads

Thanks for your comment Terry. Congrats on all the new leads and it just shows that inbound marketing is truly the way to do business in the future. Outbound marketing still works, but its becoming harder and harder to connect through cold-calling, direct mail, traditional advertising, etc. It's also becoming less profitable as your story reveals.

On The Influence Pyramid 2.0

I firmly believe the ability to influence others is rooted in self-confidence and belief in yourself. Then when you sprinkle on knowledge, experience and feedback from others you begin to create the powerful ability to influence others in positive ways.
