Having heard Joseph Jaffe, founder of Crayon Marketing, in April at SNCR’s event, and we have two of the Crayon (total staff of five) visionaries on our blogs, I was pre-disposed to be interested in what Greg Verdino, Chief Strategist, had to say about social media in the break-away session, “Lead Generation in a Social Media World.” After an overview of all that’s going on with global commoditization of knowledge (great graphic: a head with a bar code scan in the middle) Greg delivered the money quote: “Knowledge has been commoditized. Connections cannot be commoditized.”
